How does it work?

Once that’s done, your garage can extend its service offering to cover ECU performance/economy remapping, mechanical modifications (EGR, DPF, Swirl Flaps, AdBlue etc.) and DTC / P code resolution services to your customers, instead of turning this custom remapping work away for other vehicle tuning companies to complete.

Partnering with TuneTek enables you to take on the work with your customer’s vehicle and generate extra revenue, but leave the custom remap file creation work with us to fulfil for you at a low cost.

Partnering with TuneTek, we will modify your vehicle’s ECU file in parallel with the associated mechanical work you are undertaking via a simple 4 step process which can be typically turned around within a couple of hours:

Step 1 - Use our approved equipment to connect to and read the vehicle’s ECU that you are working on
Step 2 - Use the <<file upload>> facility on our website to share the ECU file with us, along with details of the faults or performance/tuning requirement
Step 3 - Our TuneTek technician will modify the ECU file (Tuning and remapping) to remedy the diagnostic issue and/or provide the performance/economy remap required for your customer and send back to you via email
Step 4 - Using our approved equipment, your own technician can then upload the modified ECU file to your customer’s vehicle. Job done!
