TuneTek Stage one
Stage 1 Engine Remapping
A software (only) based performance tuning of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) parameters to a safe and comfortable level. This option does not require any physical/mechanical modifications to your vehicle. The levels of fuel and air that is injected into the engine are altered via a map file, which delivers increased performance (torque / power), improved throttle response and reduced fuel consumption. This is an efficient/reliable remapping option for standard / non-modified vehicles.
TuneTek Stage 2
Stage 2 Engine Remapping
Stage 2 remap provides additional increases in power and performance vs. the Stage 1 remap. However, this does require physical modifications to the vehicle. Depending on the type of engine / model of vehicle, the basic requirements for a Stage 2 Remap are:
For petrol vehicles - modified air intake, intercooler & potentially exhaust system
For diesel vehicles - modification of DPF and EGR.
TuneTek Stage 3
Stage 3 Engine Remapping
A Stage 3 remap delivers the most power and performance your vehicle can produce. This requires more extensive modifications to the vehicle in addition to those listed under Stage 2, including:
Upgraded turbo / injectors
Modified engine internals may be required (forged pistons, conrods and big end bearings).
A stage 3 remap is primarily targeted at racing track use or for serious car modification enthusiasts that are seeking massive performance gains from their vehicle.
