Vehicle Owner / Garage undertaking mechanical work must ensure the vehicle is checked over by professional mechanical to ensure its in as fit state to be remapped
Diagnostics checks must be completed to ensure no pre-existing issues are occurring with the vehicle prior to commencing with the engine or transmission remapping process
ECU file read/will be undertaken using our approved hardware types <
Any support faults identified with the map file software must be raised via TuneTek support portal <
Due to copyright factors, software file sales are non refundable. No refund is offered for software files that have been requested/created based on missing/incomplete requirements stated by our customers.
Faults associated with the mapping tool and/or incorrect process followed during the remapping process are not the responsibility of TuneTek. Such faults include (but not limited to)
Incorrect ‘ECU pinning’ process being followed when reading/writing the map file
Failing to remove the ECU from the vehicle and ‘bench map’ when this is a requirement for the vehicle (as opposed to mapping the ECU via ODB port on vehicle whilst it it still connected to the car)
Failing to to ensure the correct voltage levels are maintained during the ECU/TCU/TCM read/write process
Computer or laptop faults that are unrelated to the map file being applied.
